We have been involved in the performance revolution since its inception, and it shows.

Our bulls are fertile, high-performance animals, many of them with low birthweight genetics.  For generations, their ancestors have been selected for the economically important traits: fertility, production, efficiency, and carcass quality.

We have been involved in gathering carcass data for over 15 years now, so carcass EPD’s are available on many of our cattle. Of course, all performance data on the bulls and their ancestors is available to you - we want to provide you with every tool available to assist you in selecting the best animals for your program.

Successful breeding programs begin with outstanding females - there's simply no way around it.  To this day, many of our best mothers can be traced back to the females that founded the Brad Z program over 40 years ago.

We select our females based on fertility and pounds of calf weaned per pound of cow.  After all, high performance does not equal profitability if we are forced to pour feed into a cow to keep her in condition or get her to rebreed.

Sires such as Loma Lanes Cracker Jack 12J, Pine Drive Big Sky, PS Power Play, Scotch Cap, DHD Traveler 6807, and N Bar Emulation EXT have been heavy influences in our herd.   All AI sires that we use are carefully chosen based on EPD's, progeny evaluation, and consideration of fertility and carcass quality information that is available.
